The station was inaugurated on 31  December 2005. 

The station is owned by Delhi Metro and controlled by Delhi Metro Rail Corporation. The station structure is elevated. The station has four tracks and one side platform. The station facilitated with parking, life, Bank ATM, Disability access. The preceding station is Dwarka Mor(blue line), Terminus(Grey line) and the following station is Dwarka Sector 14(blue line), Nangli(grey line) of the Dwarka Metro Station.
