Mayapuri metro station is located on Satguru Ram Singh Road, Mayapuri Industrial Area Phase 1, Mayapuri in New Delhi. This metro station was inaugurated on 14 March 2018 for public use along with Delhi Cantt and Naraina metro stations. It is situated on the Pink line of Delhi Metro. The pink line (also known as Ring Road Line) is a part of the network development plan of Delhi Metro Phase 3. It is owned by Delhi Metro and operated by DMRC (Delhi Metro Rail Corporation). It is an elevated, double track type of station. Since the Mayapuri metro station is an elevated station, therefore, it is about 39.48 km in length. It is a type of side platform. The side platform is a type of platform with two tracks and two platforms on each side.
The two platforms are:
- Platform 1: that leads to Shiv Vihar.
- Platform 2: that leads to Majlis Park So, there are only two tracks.
