Barakhamba Metro StationDMRC

The Barakhamba Marg is Urdu word of twelve pillors, there is a Barakhamba monument of 14-century tomb building was Lodhi period. Due to this famous road of Connaught place, the metro station name was originated from this road. The Barakhamba Metro station is located on the blue line of Delhi Metro. It was constructed by the Shapoorji Pallonji Group. The station address is Fire Brigade Lane, Barakhamba New Delhi 110001. The station was opened on 31 December 2005. 

The station reachable from Morden Road, and the statesman House, Office, Banks, the Oxford Book store and numerous other commercial institutes. The station is owned by Delhi Metro and controlled by Delhi Metro Rail Corporation. The station structure is elevated double-track.  The station has two track and one side platform.

• The station is facilitated with Bank ATM(HDFC Bank, Yes Bank, IndusInd Bank, Ratnakar Bank, Canara Bank) are acceptance by Metro in ATM Machine. 
• ADD Value Machine been provided at station enable passengers to validate add value done on Contactless Smart Cards using an online transaction and Token Value  Machine TVMs have been provided at stations to enable passengers to buy tokens and/or perform add value on Contactless Smart Cards without standing in queue at ticket windows and save quality travel time.
• Lifts, Escalators, Ramps, Wheel Chairs, First-Ad-Box, Toilets are also available at the station for public.
